For next year's yearbook, I have been asked to design some theme ideas. Yes, these have been done with Photoshop, but if you read toward the end you will see what I have in store for you if you'd like.  ^-^ ^-^

    those are pretty freakin cool

i assume you used custom brushes for a lot of it? if you didn't use them, i would really like a tutorial.  and if you did use custom brushes, i would still like a tutorial

    :p

yeah. A LOT of custom brushes.

Here are some of what I remember:

The two white curves on the cover:

The vector swirls used throughout the inside:

The splatters used on all pages:

The wings were made from GoMedia's Arsenal (paid for by the school...;D):

    The chaparral:

    The chaparral's feet:

    The font (TURBOripped):

The sun-type vector in the background was actually made with the custom shape tool, but with the tutorial I'll create one for you and save it as a png so you can use it in Gimp. I don't remember what brush pack the winged-emblem brush came from, but I'll also upload that one on the tutorial.

I'll make the tutorial within the next week or so when I have time.  ^-^ ^-^
