    BTW: I edited it, sharpened it a lot so that it looks more stoney ;)

    Just like the Ubuntu logo is beveled you need to make the text stand out, like it's carved out of the stone. :)

    It looks great for a dark wallpaper. I also think that since the logo is engraved, making the text stand out will make improvements. Btw is it just me that the logo is not centered? I don't think though that it need adjustments for the lighting is perfect.

    I tried replicating what you did to the logo, on the text... But since i doesnt know the whole process i couldnt get it just right!

    Did i tell you that i just had 20% of the BG done when i saved...??
    And 100% bg and 70% txt when gimp crashed? :p

    I made a smaller one cause your size is like giving my ram drugs and hope it OD on it.... xD :p

    New one in show case...
    any one know how to open a ps pattern and get it to a png? jpg? anything? if i put the pattern in the pattern folder, gimp says "me no likey"

    Maybe I will, but I will not remember every step :D
