    Hi all,

just finished creating a tile script.

It takes in the sizes of the image (a new image is created with this script), the sizes of the tiles, up to 8 colours for the tiles (colours are applied randomly to each tile), the colour of the grout and the pencil brush to use for the grout (i suggest something small such as a 1x1 pixel brush).

(i might adjust it to use a normal brush, i only just thought of that)

The larger the image and the smaller the tile sizes, the longer it will take to carry out the script. For a 1280x1024 image, it takes approx. 10 minutes. This might be because it is my first script and i'm not doing this in an optimal way, but it might just be all the work the script needs to do.

    Enjoy!

cool. let me know whether you think the grout lines should be done with a pencil or brush tool.

I've posted the plugin at the Gimp Plugin website.

I made some changes to speed it up slightly. There are also two version, the second one deals with the random distribution of colours differently by letting the user input the percentage of the tiles which they want to be drawn in a specific colour.

    Check them out...
