I just installed The GIMP 2.4.4 on my Mac Pro PPC running Mac OS X 10.5.2, from http://darwingimp.sourceforge.net/download.html. It works well, so the first thing I should say is Thank You.

When I go to Help>Help, I get the message in the Subject:, plus:

"Please install the additional help package or use the online user manual at http://docs.gimp.org/."

The user manual on the net is good, but it would be convenient to also have the "additional help package" installed locally. Can this be done in the Mac version? If so, how?

    Thanks,
    -Hop

    Hi,

you can find this package on the downloads page you posted the link to ;) just scroll down a little

This package is unfortunately not totally up to date and was not built by me, so I'm not sure how it works; I'll need to look into understanding how it works and making a new one when I have time
