I stopped using this one symbol for a while because, frankly, I was too lazy to vectorize it through the pen tool, and the original was really damn small (not only that, but I couldn't even separate it from the many times I made it "aqua" or "neon" or whatever).

I finally got around to it, and tried to mimic the aqua effect I had seen before, with a few tweaks...

I want to do a tutorial on it, but it's rather hard to imitate unless you have a shape or text that is rather thick and curvy; not only that, but there is quite a bit of user taste input that dictates how it should look (I'm speaking mainly of the darker and lighter parts of the figure that kinda cross through).

EDIT: For the record, it's an 'S' tilted to the side, not an N or anything.  Fullsize it to see the detail.

Actually, it was from scratch. Originally, it was MUCH smaller: http://akisu-sama.deviantart.com/art/Si ... ol-1338554

Honestly, I just got bored and made a random shape (the one in the middle) with the paths tool.  Then added the two little extra shapes above it with the paths tool.  Finally, I copied it, rotated it, and merged them together.

I'll work on a tutorial making logos combined with the aqua shape.  Polar Coords is fun.
