How to change gimp's splash screen

    mmmm i will add an attachment though. With the help of some of gimpers tut's I present (in the attachment) My Splash!!!

    yeah i saw that when this tut was first made, but no one said anything, so i though maybe i was crazy

    It doesn't permanently replace the original splash screen. Just delete the 'Splashes' folder and open GIMP. I tried it already.

    Sorry for thread necromancy, but I wanted to share too. :D

    I'm brand new to Gimp and tried my hand at creating a splash. It's kinda neat. I like cuboids. ;)

    Not nearly as impressive as some of yours, but it's a learning experience.

    I doubt the OP will see it, but thanks for the tutorial anyways. I found it on Google. :)

    (I just realized I use the emoticons far too much.)
