strictly following the tutorial i got this:

but the color is off as you can see because i used a different render so i made a couple others

so which one should i put a border/text on?

very good tutorial i like ;) one thing i got messed up on was at the beginning where when i couldn't smudge right. I don't think the grunge set i was using was soft enough.

ps what text is that? ive seen you use it several times (or at least a text similar to it)

Nice results Ajit, I personally say finish the second coloured one.

The font I used is called Epoxy History, search dafont.com for it.

I'm having some trouble here. I've done everything up to the part RIGHT after the Vine. I add a new transparent layer, its above the vine layer (which is now 2nd to top) and I paste my render in. It's unscaled and still very big, I move it around, then place it. Then I take out a soft grunge brush I downloaded and I smudge, yet it doesn't come out like yours, it comes out all different color like, and also it's not grey - black its got some of the green from vines and such, it's very odd looking it basically looks like them image spread all over the vines.

well the two renders that you paste in should be on different layers if thats what you mean, but to be honest i don't remember a whole lot cause this was a long time ago...

not bad but its not right i dont think. and that line to the right of your reder is bad. make sure to go layer to image size before.
