Hello,

Since 2.8, Gimp was supposed to have a way of overriding system language/locale in the Preferences. Well, I just installed ver. 2.8.6 from http://gimp.lisanet.de/ - 64-bit, OS X 10.6.8. Well, the language selector just isn't there! I wasted some time googling and managed to find someone else who had the same problem - possibly, it's 10.6-specific?

So, is there a way to either
a) install it with a functional language selector on my system, or,
b) make it permanently use English so that it would survive further upgrades (add something to gimprc? if so, where - home directory, Library?)

I think the Estonian translation needs to be killed before it lays eggs.

TIA
