My first tutorial ever! This is a very very very simple and easy way to make a realistic looking fire.

    Step 1: Open Gimp (duh)
Step 2: File>New>make it any size square you want I made mine 420x420
Step 3: Select the blend tool. and pick either the incandescent or the german flag smooth [IMG]
Step 4: Go to Filters>Distorts>IWarp now this is where it gets hard..ish click move and start to move the image to kind of give it a fire look..Change around the radius and stuff swirl it make it look awesom =)

This is my final Iwarp image..thingy..Lol

Step 5: This is the last STEP! Make a new layer> then go to Filters>Render>Clouds>Plasma make the turbulence like 4.5 and pick a random that looks...good..XD Now for the final step don don don! Put the plasma layer in Overlay..Thats all..you can edit this hue have fun play with it don't think this is a 5 step tutorial and this is all you can do with it! Don't get the same results as me! Mine sucks! You guys are way better at gimp..XD..

Anyways I hope you enjoyed this is my final result..
