That would be extremely helpful /holler And I don't mind 400 fonts is good more of a selection
Actually its more like 1000 fonts...lol =P
Just copy all the fonts in the folder and paste them into YOUR WINDOWS/Fonts folder...dont just use this Fonts folder cause i am pretty sure that the system wont recognize it as a Windows Fonts folder anymore. =P
Another thing...i wouldn't copy and paste all 1000 fonts at once, it will take forever to install...lol
oh and just another added thought...i would only copy and paste the font files, im not sure what else is in there.
Here is the link...the dl is 51.7 MB zip folder (like i said alot of fonts) .. let me know if this works.
Thank you so much Rod, but last question: I have a unzip thing but I have no idea what to do =/ do i click extract or open archive or what?
make a folder where he said and extract it to that folder
probably wait for rod to say this is what to do but im pretty sure it is
Can I just make a folder called fonts in my program files because I don know where my font folder is :/
Guest is me on my ipod sorry for double post
if you use them just for gimp its C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAMEGOESHERE\.gimp-2.6\fonts
I won't need to put it into a windows folder? just the Gimp one?
-edit- I extracted all 1000 some odd fonts to the Gimp 2.7 Font Folder, but the exact same thing happened, with the error report thing
Firstly, i dont know where you downloaded the file too i assume your desktop.
1) extract the folder to its own folder on the desktop or whatever folder you downloaded the zip file to, doesn't matter what you name it.
2) open the folder and or folders until you get to the fonts.
3) copy and paste all the fonts and just the fonts to your system folder which will be here.
there are TTF and open type in it, copy and paste all of them.
Don't create another folder to put them in, you should already have a system fonts folder. This is a dif type of folder.
Let me know if that works..
i belive, with fonts, select all the fonts you want to install > right click > install ;-)
you can do it that way too, but i am thinking he doesn't want to install 1000 fonts all at once =P
SWEET IT WORKS Thank you all so much especially you rod you were very helpful Thanks again so much
awesome, good deal glad i could help. =)
Well it sorta works =P I can only use like 8 fonts because if i try to scroll up or down the error message pops up >.>
